Switching to a New
Omnipod 5® Device

 

Switching to a new Omnipod 5 device will require you to go through First Time Setup again. Before you make the switch, you will need to find your current settings.

To help accurately capture your current settings, download and print the “Switching to a new Omnipod 5 device” guide. You’ll use the last page of this guide to write in your settings.

Once you have finished capturing your settings, you’ll be ready to set up your new device. With your Settings sheet handy, turn on your new Controller or launch the Omnipod App on your smartphone and follow the on-screen instructions to do your First Time Setup.

Please note: When you switch to a new device, insulin delivery history from previous Pods will be lost and adaptivity will start over, but the System will learn again over the next few Pods.

Training is essential and must be completed before using the Omnipod® 5 System. As part of this process, you will need to meet with your healthcare provider and visit omnipod.com/setup to complete setup and schedule your required training.
