Hope S. Warshaw

MMSc, RD, CDE, BC-ADM, FADCES

Hope Warshaw, MMSc, RD, CDCES, BC-ADM, is a nationally recognized dietitian (RD) and certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES). She applies forty plus years of experience in her work as a consultant, book author, freelance writer, and media spokesperson within her business Hope Warshaw Associates, LLC. Hope is well known for her expertise in diabetes nutrition management and insulin pump therapy. Hope is passionate about assuring excellent and holistic care is delivered to all people with diabetes. She has played a pivotal role internationally in advancing the role and value of peer support among people with diabetes in-person and virtually through social media channels and peer support communities. Hope has authored or co-authored numerous publications in diabetes-focused professional journals. Hope has held national leadership roles in several diabetes-related healthcare professional associations and served as president of Association of Diabetes Care and Educators in 2016.

Susan Weiner

MS, RDN, CDN, CDCES, FADCES

Susan Weiner, MS, RDN, CDN, CDCES, FADCES is an award-winning food and nutrition expert, author and speaker. Susan served as a Director, on the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) Board of Directors and was named the 2015 AADE Diabetes Educator of the Year. She is an ADCES fellow and continues to volunteer and serve as faculty for several diabetes non-profit organizations.

Susan’s is the “Diabetes in Real Life” columnist for Endocrine Today and is the on-air host for video interviews and content for Healio. She is the co-author of "The Complete Diabetes Organizer” and “Diabetes: 365 Tips for Living Well”.

Susan is a well-respected national and international lecturer on a variety of topics related to nutrition, diabetes, wellness and health, and has authored several articles for peer reviewed journals. She has written and been quoted in dozens of articles for popular press, consumer publications and online sites. Susan earned her Master's Degree in Applied Physiology and Nutrition from Columbia University.
