While using the Omnipod® 5 System in Automated Mode, there may be some situations when you would like less insulin automatically delivered, such as exercise.
The Omnipod 5 System has the Activity feature that can be helpful in these situations. When it’s activated, SmartAdjust™ technology reduces insulin delivery and sets the Target Glucose to 150 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) for the amount of time you choose up to 24 hours.
Watch the video for step-by-step instructions to learn how you can take advantage of the Activity feature while using Omnipod 5 in Automated Mode.
Training is essential and must be completed before using the Omnipod 5 System. As part of this process, you will need to meet with your healthcare provider and visit omnipod.com/setup to complete setup and schedule your required training.
