Removing the Pod

At the end of three days or 72 hours, or sometimes sooner, if there's an issue with the pod

you will need to remove your pod.

To remove the pod, gently lift the edges of the adhesive tape from your skin and remove the pod.

Gently removing the pod can help to avoid irritation.

Use soap and water to remove any residue left over by the adhesive on your skin.

It is important to rotate the pod locations when changing the pod, and it is not recommended to use the same location immediately after removal.

Dispose of the pod according to your local waste disposal regulations.

Monitor your glucose with the guidance from your healthcare provider.

Undetected high or low glucose can result without proper monitoring.

Always keep an emergency kit with you to quickly respond to any diabetes emergency or in a case where your Omnipod GO system stops working.
