Let’s face it, while diabetes technologies are often offered to patients with type 1 diabetes, the same options are not always given to patients with type 2 diabetes. But the paradigm is slowly shifting.

As clinicians, our intention is to provide quality patient care and education to people living with diabetes. However, upon diagnosis, we tend to impart a deluge of “new and critical” information all at once.
