With Omnipod® 5 we created the first and only tubeless Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) system in the US, but we’re not stopping there. We’re continuing to lead the tubeless pump revolution by diligently working on offering our consumers a choice of phone operating system for the Omnipod 5 App and also sensor of choice among the biggest sensors available on the market.

Omnipod 5 App for iPhone

We’re pumped to announce that the Omnipod 5 App for iPhone has received FDA clearance! We look forward to bringing this update to our users soon. For any questions, read our FAQs here.

Omnipod 5 and Dexcom G7

We’re excited to have started a Limited Market Release for Omnipod 5 integration with Dexcom G7 CGM across the U.S. with coverage and availability continuing to increase throughout the year. This is another step toward our goal of offering Omnipod® 5 users a choice of glucose monitoring device. For any questions, read our FAQs here.

Spanish Language

We recently added Spanish as a language option for Omnipod 5 and continue to work on bringing additional Spanish resources to market.

 

What's Next

Sensor Integration

We are proud to partner with Dexcom and Abbott to expand our Omnipod 5 sensor integration options, giving users choice in the device they use for glucose monitoring.

New Product Innovation

We are working on launching a basal-only Pod for patients with insulin-requiring type 2 diabetes. More information to come soon!

Innovation in Every Pod

One small, tubeless and waterproof2 Pod, which is made up of 74 pieces, consistently and accurately delivers insulin for people with diabetes through customizable basal rates and bolus presets.

The Pod holds up to 200 units of rapid-acting U-100 insulin and replaces up to 14 daily injections.3

The Pod includes auto-cannula insertion, that eliminates the necessity of handling the insertion needle, while providing a virtually pain-free path for insulin delivery.
