Omnipod Discover™ Training

New users should navigate to omnipod.com/setup to complete onboarding. Users will have the option to enroll in Omnipod Discover™ during step 3. If a patient skips enrollment during onboarding, they can log into their PodderCentral® account and enroll by clicking on the diabetes data tab.

The user may need to update the HCP/Clinic in their PodderCentral account. They will need to log into their PodderCentral® account and navigate to “Change My Physician.” Here they can update the HCP/Clinic.

Login to their PodderCentral® account, tap on the Diabetes Data tab and follow steps to enroll in Omnipod Discover™.

A clinic code is a unique identifier assigned to each Omnipod Discover™ account. It enables patients to share their Omnipod® 5 data remotely with all clinics in that Omnipod Discover account. Patients can use the clinic code to share their Omnipod 5 data during initial onboarding or later through the patient’s PodderCentral® account.

If a Clinic Admin is inviting additional HCP/Staff members, they can select the permission level after the clinic staff completes enrollment. If the HCP/Staff self-enroll, they are automatically granted Standard permissions. If the Clinic Admin wishes to change the permission level at any time, a Clinic Admin can click on Staff in the Navigation Pane and update the permissions using the drop down.

Your Omnipod representative will invite the first Clinic Admin to enroll in Omnipod Discover™. The Clinic Admin will receive an email and should follow the instructions on screen to complete enrollment.

The Clinic Admin can invite the HCP/Staff members to enroll in Omnipod Discover™ by navigating to the Staff section in the Navigation Pane and then click on “Invite” in the top right-hand corner. The HCP/Staff members will receive an email and should follow the instructions on screen to complete enrollment.

HCP/Staff can opt to self-enroll by going to omnipod.com/hcp, clicking on "HCP Account" in the top right corner, then clicking "Register Now". After following the on-screen instructions to create an Omnipod HCP account, the HCP/Staff can enroll in Omnipod Discover™ by clicking on the "Enroll" button on the home screen of Omnipod HCP account. After following the instructions, the HCP/Staff will need to be approved by the Clinic Admin before they can view any patient data.

Using a MicroUSB cable, plug in the patient’s Omnipod Dash® PDM into your computer. Log in to the Omnipod Discover™ portal, select the patient’s name, In Approval Return to Table of Content then click the “Upload” button. Follow the instructions on screen to navigate to the file ending in “.ibf” and select that file to upload. Omnipod Discover will process the file and generate a report.
