Pharmacy Benefit
The pharmacy channel may offer simplified access to the Omnipod DASH® System. This may mean less paperwork for healthcare providers and may allow patients to manage their Pod orders alongside their other prescriptions. Currently, the Omnipod DASH® System has access through pharmacy benefit managers and health plans across the nation and Insulet is working to expand pharmacy access across the United States. Medicare Part D Coverage
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) allows Omnipod DASH® System to be covered under the Medicare Part D (prescription drug) program. If your patient's Part D carrier does not cover the Omnipod DASH® System, our Medicare Access team can work with your patient to help them secure a formulary exception. Medicaid Coverage
The Medicare Part D determination by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) may serve as an accelerant to achieving broad Medicaid access. Pod Therapy Financial Assistance Program
Our mission is to make diabetes management as accessible as possible. Should any Pod Therapy users change or lose insurance coverage, Insulet’s Financial Assistance Program provides eligible users with a financing plan that allows them to continue to benefit from Pod Therapy, regardless of insurance provider.
