Omnipod® 5 is currently compatible with Dexcom G7 and FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus. It is important to remember there are now 2 versions of Omnipod 5 Pods: 1 is compatible with Dexcom G7 and 1 is compatible with FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus.
If you are thinking of changing to a different sensor compatible with Omnipod 5, please note the following:
1) Please use your existing Pods and sensors before switching to a new sensor.
2) Speak to your healthcare provider (HCP) to discuss this change.
If agreed, you will:
- Need to request a prescription for the new sensor.
- Request training on how to use the new sensor from your HCP or sensor manufacturer.
3) When ordering Pods please check the compatibility of your Pods which is highlighted on the Pod tray lid and in the top right-hand corner of the box of Pods (see below).
