Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 14, Olly is a passionate athlete who refused to let Type 1 Diabetes define their limits growing up and playing competitive AFL.

Bec was diagnosed January 2025 at the age of 39, can now relate even more to her daughter Elliott, who was diagnosed with in June 2024 at 6 years old. While still new to navigating the life of diabetes management, they're determined not to let it stop them from doing anything they love.

Cruz was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 5 years old and has been living with T1D for 9 years now.

When I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in December 2006, I was absolutely determined to never let type 1 prevent me from doing anything that I set my mind to. This hasn’t changed over my 15 years of living with type 1.

Adventuring with the Pod, it’s like a whole new world. I’m an active person, always looking for the next thing to do.
