Retrospective RWE of T1D users utilizing optimized settings including sufficient CGM data (≥75% of days with ≥220 readings), ≥90% time in Automated Mode, and ≥5 bolus/day. A 13-week randomised controlled trial conducted among 194 adults (age 18-70 years) with type 1 diabetes in France and the U.S., comparing the safety and effectiveness of the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) System versus conventional non-AID pump therapy and CGM (control). ‡ The Love It Or Your Money Back Program ("Program") is a trial offer available to eligible new customer starts between 1 September 2026 through 31 December 2026 who access the Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System (“Omnipod 5”) through the NDSS Pay as You Pod (Self-Pay) pathway (“PAYP”) designed to assist people interested in trying Omnipod 5 to see if it is right for them, with support from your healthcare provider. Through this program, an eligible customer may receive a refund of $370, equal to two (2) boxes of Pods.

Under PAYP, you may be able to access the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System by purchasing a no lock-in subscription payable to Omnipod Australia at a cost of $185 per box of ten (10) Pods (plus the usual NDSS copayment) to access the Omnipod 5 System, providing eligibility to NDSS subsidised Pods as a registered Omnipod user. When starting on the PAYP program, your first order will include an Omnipod 5 Controller and a box of ten (10) Pods to get you started.  

All fees and costs that are paid to any third party are not refundable under this program, including but not limited to healthcare provider consultation and training fees and the NDSS co-payment which is a dispensing fees that will be charged to you at your pharmacy for your second box of Pods and all subsequent Pods.

Eligibility criteria: Subject to program limitations and terms and conditions, the Program is open to patients with Type 1 Diabetes aged 2 years or older who have been prescribed Omnipod 5 by a qualified healthcare provider and meet the following criteria: (i) reside in Australia; (ii) be registered with the NDSS and eligible to access NDSS-subsidised insulin pump consumables; (iii) complete your Omnipod 5 training by 31 December 2026; (iv) purchase an Omnipod 5 Starter Kit and two (2) boxes of Omnipod 5 Pods on or after 1 September 2026; (v) use twenty (20) Omnipod 5 Pods; and (vi) request a refund within four (4) months of the date of your Omnipod 5 training by your healthcare provider. This Program is not available for patients who have previously used Omnipod 5 or the Omnipod DASH® Insulin Management System. Eligibility for a refund remains at Insulet’s discretion, patient must demonstrate reasonable and consistent use of Omnipod 5 over the trial period.  

If your healthcare provider has decided to discontinue your use of the Omnipod 5 System, you may still be eligible to file a refund request, if you have not used twenty (20) Omnipod 5 Pods.  

You may still be eligible for a refund if you continue using Omnipod 5 and get coverage under private health insurance (“PHI”) within four (4) months of being trained on Omnipod 5. 

Filing a refund request: To place a request for a refund, contact Omnipod Customer Operations on 1800 954 075 (option 2) or [email protected]. Once your claim is approved, you will receive reimbursement for the two (2) boxes of Pods you have purchased (for a total amount of $370). You will not receive reimbursement for the NDSS copayment, shipping or handling fees, or any other fee paid to someone other than Insulet. In order to receive a refund, you must return the Omnipod 5 Controller, as well as any unused Pods, to Insulet. You may dispose of used Pods. Other restrictions may apply.
