Durante las primeras 12 horas de uso de un Sensor FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus, utilice la lectura de un medidor de glucosa en sangre antes de tomar decisiones sobre el tratamiento. Si las alarmas de glucosa y las lecturas del sistema no coinciden con los síntomas o las expectativas, utilice el valor de glucosa en sangre de un medidor de glucosa en sangre para tomar decisiones sobre el tratamiento de la diabetes [o un bolo iniciado por el usuario].

El sistema automático de administración de insulina Omnipod 5 está indicado para su uso en personas con diabetes mellitus tipo 1 a partir de los 2 años de edad y diabetes mellitus tipo 2 a partir de los 18 años. El sistema Omnipod 5 está indicado para uso doméstico en un solo paciente y requiere receta médica. During the first 12 hours of use of a FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus Sensor, use a fingerstick reading from a BG meter before making treatment decisions. After the first 12 hours, you can tap "Use Sensor" to use the value and trend in the SmartBolus Calculator. If your glucose alarms and readings from the System do not match symptoms or expectations, use a fingerstick blood glucose value from a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions [or a user-initiated bolus].

The Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System is indicated for use by individuals with type 1 diabetes mellitus in persons 2 years of age and older and type 2 diabetes mellitus in persons 18 years of age and older. The Omnipod 5 System is intended for single patient, home use and requires a prescription. The Omnipod 5 System is compatible with the following U-100 insulins: NovoLog®, Humalog®, Admelog®, and Kirsty®.

Available products subject to current insurance coverage and product indication for use. Insulet can only support onboarding for those customers within the product indication.

Initiating and adjusting settings incorrectly can result in over-delivery or under-delivery of insulin, which could lead to hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia. Warning: Do not use SmartAdjust technology in persons under 2 years of age or who use less than 5U of insulin per day.
