Omnipod Discover is Insulet's proprietary diabetes data management system. Omnipod Discover enables access to patients’ glucose trends, insulin delivery data and pump settings available in one concise report. Providing Healthcare Professionals with a dedicated display that delivers key insights between patient visits so you can optimise your time spent with Omnipod® 5 patients.

Omnipod Discover is a retrospective data analytics and reporting system intended for Omnipod 5 users or their caregivers and their healthcare providers for the analysis of glucose and insulin delivery data in home and healthcare settings. It is intended as supplemental data for the users to support diabetes management and aid healthcare providers in patient care.

Omnipod Discover is not intended for people with diabetes in acute care settings or for real- time display patient monitoring. The Omnipod Discover software platform is not intended to replace the primary real-time display of the sensor or insulin delivery data on the device, nor does it control any functions of the Omnipod system.

Omnipod Discover provides insights including Days in Range, Weekly Time in Range, Time in Range Trend, Insulin Usage Insights, and any Patterns Found.

Omnipod Discover is Insulet's proprietary diabetes data management system compatible with Omnipod 5. Data is uploaded from the Omnipod 5 Controller wirelessly using the built-in SIM* card for cellular connectivity or a secure Wi-Fi connection.

Please note: The Omnipod Discover URL is only accessible to clinics and Healthcare Professionals at this stage. A patient will not be able to use this URL link and must access Omnipod Discover by signing in via their Online Omnipod Account

The Clinic code is a unique identifier to assist you in finding your clinic and to initiate data sharing.

Login to Omnipod Discover by visiting https://global.discover.omnipod.com/hcp - Then search for your patient by surname and click ‘View report’. You can view information on device settings on the last page of the report.

Please note: The Omnipod Discover URL is only accessible to Clinic Admins and Healthcare Professionals at this stage. A patient will not be able to use this and must access Omnipod Discover by visiting Omnipod.com and signing in to their Online Omnipod Account.

To enrol in Omnipod Discover, patients must login to their Online Omnipod Account, Select 'My Account' -> Account Linking -> ‘Enrol in Discover’.

New Omnipod 5 patients should navigate to omnipod.com/setup to create an Online Omnipod Account. Patients will then be given the option to enrol in Omnipod Discover. It is important for the patient to complete the full Omnipod Onboarding process including agreement to mandatory consent screens before access to Omnipod Discover can be granted.

If the patient skips Omnipod Discover enrolment during onboarding, to enrol in Omnipod Discover the patient must login to their Online Omnipod Account, Select 'My Account' -> ‘Account Linking’ -> ‘Enrol in Discover’.

Patients can find the physician report in Omnipod Discover by tapping on the menu button and choosing ‘Download Physician report’.

Omnipod 5 users can opt to share their Online Omnipod Account details (Omnipod ID and password) with their caregiver. The care giver will need to login to Omnipod Discover by visiting www.omnipod.com and by visiting the users online Omnipod account before clicking 'Go to Discover'.

If the patient accidentally selects the wrong clinic, the patient can ‘remove clinic’ and then enter the correct clinic code in the Omnipod Discover platform. Clinic admins can also remove patients if they receive an incorrect request.

Invite patient with Clinic code from Omnipod Discover so that patient can enter the code into the Omnipod Discover platform for data sharing. The patient must have provided consent for data sharing with Omnipod Discover in their Online Omnipod Account beforehand.

Omnipod Discover is a web-based platform and does not require any installation if you already have a web browser such as Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge installed.

Enrolment to Omnipod Discover is free of charge for both Healthcare professionals, Omnipod 5 system users or their caregivers.
