Discontinuation of the Omnipod® Insulin Management System
We would like to inform you of the upcoming discontinuation of the Omnipod® Insulin Management System (also known as Omnipod® Eros, Omnipod UST400, or Omnipod® ‘Classic’). If you have patients who are currently using the Omnipod® Insulin Management System, we encourage you to discuss updating their insulin management device at their next appointment, or reach out to them sooner if possible. If you would like to provide further information to your patients, you can direct them to our patient website and FAQs.
At Insulet, we remain committed to supporting and developing the latest devices within the Omnipod® family, including the Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System and the Omnipod DASH® Insulin Management System. The Omnipod DASH® Insulin Management System can be considered a like-for-like replacement for the Omnipod® Insulin Management System.
